Safe, sound and in good spirits... AR Modern Europe has arrived in Cabourg, France!

It took a little while to get out of JFK (nearly three hours on the tarmack waiting for final clearance to take off), but once we did the flight went smoothly. We arrived in Paris at about lunch time, enjoyed a nice meal and then hopped on the bus to Cabourg. Two and a half hours later, we checked into the lovely La Closerie, freshened up a bit and then headed to the Casserole & Bouchons for a beautiful, copious and tasty supper. After our meal we strolled around the village of Cabourg, and now we're going to get some rest.
