Day 4: Paris

Happy 4th of July! Today we were lucky to enjoy many parts of the great city of Paris, which on holidays like today we are reminded it's home to our oldest ally and close friend. After having breakfast at our hotel we strolled through the Luxembourg Gardens, saw the Pantheon and Sorbonne, and eventually made our way over to the Louvre Museum. Admiring the art and exploring the beauty of the Louvre - with of course, a visit to the Mona Lisa - we enjoyed lunch near the Opera Garnier. We then did a little shopping along the tree-lined boulevard Champs-Elysées, followed by a picturesque experience atop the Arc de Triomphe. Not to leave our day in Paris short, we then took in the surreal power of the Eiffel Tower - before and after dinner nearby. A busy day will make for some great memories!
